Manages and expands the college’s network and IT resources to include planning, installing, configuring, and maintaining optimal physical hosts and their virtual machine infrastructures in a multiple cluster environment, with emphasis on LAMP servers, Windows servers, and commercial virtualization software – VMware and Hyper-V. Administers Active Directory Domain control of HIPAA and FERPA compliant networks and application assets to ensure reliability and availability of management, research, data collection, storage, web, file, EMR, RDS, backup and video surveillance systems, both locally and remotely.
